The weather forecast from the Met Office:
A cloudy start this morning, but staying largely dry with sunny intervals developing, particularly into the afternoon. Feeling warm in the sunshine, with light to moderate northerly winds becoming variable later this morning. Become windy overnight into Friday with fresh to strong south to southwest winds developing as rain arrives from the west.
Friday will be wet and windy with a strong south to southwest wind and outbreaks of rain, which will be persistent and heavy at first and again later with a period of being lighter and patchier in the afternoon. A top temperature of 16 or possibly 17°C, but feeling cooler in the wind and rain.
Saturday will be cloudy with perhaps some rain still around during the morning, but becoming dry and brighter in the afternoon. Mainly moderate to fresh southwesterly winds and temperatures up to 17 or 18°C.
