The weather forecast from the Met Office:

Turning increasingly cloudy this morning with one or two showers possible as extensive hill fog develops, before outbreaks of rain and drizzle spread across the island into the afternoon. Maximum temperature of 9°C in the mainly moderate south-easterly wind.

The rain and drizzle will continue at times this evening and tonight, with the threat of some coastal mist around the south and east of the island. Temperatures falling no lower than 6°C as the light to moderate wind turns to the west or northwest overnight.

Any lingering rain, drizzle and mist at first tomorrow will soon clear away, leaving the daytime mostly dry with some brightness possible during the afternoon. A further spell of rain will then affect the island for a time later tomorrow evening, but quickly clear to leave a dry end to the night. Highs of 9 or possibly 10°C in the light to moderate west to north-westerly breeze.

Tuesday will be fine and dry with sunny intervals and a moderate to fresh north to northwest wind. Temperatures reaching up to 8°C at best.
