Residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the future of Ramsey District Cottage Hospital at a public meeting organised by Ramsey Commissioners next week.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, August 6, at 7pm in St Paul's Hall, with representatives from Manx Care in attendance.
The commissioners have been calling for a public meeting on the future of the cottage hospital since April.
They also say a 'consultative committee' is being established to provide a forum for 'ongoing engagement' as plans for a long-term healthcare model in the north continue to develop.
In December 2025, most services were relocated from the hospital because of pest control issues and remedial works.
Further structural problems were later identified before a phased reopening of some services began in May.
