A 46-year-old man, who was stopped while getting off the ferry, has admitted driving while he was banned.
Brian Moore, of Douglas Head, also pleaded guilty to being uninsured.
The offence was committed on April 3, when officers spoke to Moore as he disembarked the ferry from Liverpool in a Mercedes Benz E350, despite a three year driving ban in March 2025.
In August this year, Moore was put on probation for a year, after being caught driving on May 21, which was thought to have been a one-off.
However, the April 3 offence had not been brought to court at that time.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood adjourned sentencing until November 3, so a probation report can be prepared.
