A 39-year-old who was drunk and disorderly outside the Outback has been fined £350.

Kyle Berry, of Clypse Road, Douglas, was also ordered to pay £125 prosecution costs.

The court heard that Berry was involved in a verbal altercation, squaring up to another male in Barrack Street on August 23, at 2.45am, which prompted door staff to intervene.

Police officers were also on patrol nearby and intervened, describing Berry as unsteady on his feet and having glazed eyes.

Berry continued to be aggressive towards the other male, shouting: ‘I’ll come for you.’

Duty advocate John Wright said that the defendant had not been drinking for 20 months, and had then decided to go out.

Berry was given three months to pay.
