A man who broke a window and picture frame at his mother’s house has been fined £500.
Twenty-eight-year-old Vincent Sims admitted criminal damage and must also pay £125 prosecution costs.
Magistrates heard that Sims went to his mother’s Laxey address on September 8.
He smashed a rear window to enter and damaged a picture frame on a wall inside.
Sims had been bailed by a court that same day, with a condition not to attend his mother’s address, but claimed he wasn’t aware of that.
He said he’d become frustrated when he found the house locked.
A Domestic Abuse Protection Order has also been issued for 12 months, prohibiting him from contacting his mother.
Sims, of King Street, Douglas, must also pay £125 prosecution costs.
