A Jurby man has admitted transferring criminal cash.
Thirty-six-year-old William Thomas Prince was arrested after police analysed messages from someone else’s phone.
Prosecuting advocate Annie Bannister told the court that a foot passenger, arriving from Heysham, was arrested at the Sea Terminal on December 14.
Their mobile phone revealed a Snapchat conversation with Prince.
In it, he told the person his address, at The Threshold, and agreed for them to collect £4,700 in cash, saying it would be hidden in a car outside.
When interviewed, Prince answered ‘no comment’ to all questions.
In court, he was represented by advocate Helen Lobb, who asked for a probation report to be prepared before sentencing, which will be on November 24.
Bail was granted.
