A warrant backed with bail has been issued for a woman who claims she felt too unsafe to attend court.
Jessica Marguerita Radcliffe is charged with assaulting a police officer and threatening behaviour, both alleged on May 1.
The 36-year-old, of Cushag Road, Douglas, was due to appear before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood on August 11.
However, she contacted her advocate, saying she wouldn’t be attending.
Ms Radcliffe claimed she had been the victim of an attack, her house had been ‘egged’, and multiple men had been banging on her door, threatening her.
The court heard this was the third time she had failed to appear.
The warrant will bail her to a new date of September 25.
