A 24-year-old woman has been put on probation for 18 months for common assault.
Tamisha May Thomas was said to have grabbed the victim’s hair and made contact with her face during a struggle.
Thomas, of Fenella Terrace, Peel, was said to have gone to the woman’s home at Kerroo Coar in Peel on March 22, accusing her of sleeping with her ex-boyfriend.
The woman suffered a bruise near her eye.
Defence advocate David Reynolds entered a basis of plea, which was not read out in court.
The prosecution did not accept the basis, but said it would not make a material difference to sentencing.
Thomas must also pay £125 prosecution costs, at a rate of £10 per week, deducted from benefits.
