This Saturday local charity Women’s Aid will be hosting its fourth annual fundraising event at 7pm at Vagabonds Rugby club in Douglas.

The charity usually holds a women’s day event during the summer, but due to the pandemic this was cancelled and now it has instead decided to hold a women’s night.

The event will be cruise-themed, with reception drinks followed by world cuisine, and local ’cruise’ singer David Castro providing live entertainment, along with a DJ.

A raffle will be held to raise funds for the charity.

Some tickets are still available, with the organisers asking that anyone wishing to attend get in contact by midday Thursday.
