Santa’s on a Bike will return to the Isle of Man on Saturday, December 5, with this year’s fundraising campaign already having raised more than £17,000 for Rebecca House Children’s Hospice.
The annual event, hosted by telecommunications provider plan.com, will see motorcyclists dressed as Santa Claus take part in a festive ride from Douglas to Castletown.
Riders will gather outside plan.com’s offices at No. 5 Victoria Street before setting off at 10am, with the route then heading south via the Fairy Bridge before finishing at Rebecca House around lunchtime.
The event will take place with support from the Isle of Man Constabulary.
Participation is free, although riders are encouraged to register in advance to help organisers prepare for the expected turnout.
Fiona Hatton, Chief Executive of Hospice Isle of Man, said: ‘Santa’s on a Bike is such an exciting event and is a firm favourite of ours!
‘We look forward to it throughout the year and we’re beyond grateful to the public for their support and to plan.com for choosing Rebecca House to be the event’s chosen charity. It’s one that we always make sure to get the children of Rebecca House involved in, and they always have a fantastic day.’
The 2026 fundraising campaign has already raised £17,012.50 through a golf day held at Ramsey Golf Club last Friday.
More than 20 local businesses took part in the event by competing, sponsoring holes or donating prizes.
Santa’s on a Bike has raised more than £367,000 for Rebecca House since it was first held in 2018.
Last year’s event raised £78,816, with organisers hoping to exceed that total in 2026.
Registration for the event is available by visiting https://www.plan.com/soab or through the event’s Facebook page.
