The deadline is approaching to apply for Manx Lottery Trust funding for this year.
The application deadline is Friday November 5, just before the charity’s trustees meet for the last time this year to review applications for all grant programmes.
There are currently three programmes available:
Community Awards which aim to ’help to improve communities and the lives of people most in need’ for amounts between £2,501 and £50,000.
This programme is funded by the MLT as partner of National Lottery Community Fund.
Smaller Grants are what the MLT describes as a ’light touch’ programme with a simple and straightforward application process, aimed at local communities, for amounts between £300 and £2,500 (funded by MLT).
Dormant Assets Fund are aimed at charities, community groups, not-for-profits and social enterprises to ’help them adapt to future challenges, be more financially resilient and have increased skills and capacity’.
Organisations can apply for up to £50,000 for between one and three years. Distributed by MLT on behalf of the treasury.
MLT chair Sarah Kelly said: ’If anyone has any questions about the applications process, is unsure if they are eligible for funding or wondering which grant programme is most suitable - please get in touch as we’d be more than happy to help.
’The next opportunity to apply for funding won’t be until the new year, so we’d encourage as many organisations as possible to apply and make the most of the funding available.’
