Christopher McEvoy, aged 59, of James Street, Douglas, has denied making nuisance 999 calls.

He also pleaded not guilty to damaging a police van.

A pre-trial review will be held in summary court on April 13.

He was represented in court by duty advocate Paul Glover, who said that Mr McEvoy would be instructing advocate Sara-Jayne Dodge going forward.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500 with conditions to live at his home address and not to call 999 except in a case of emergency.
