Eric Anglin, aged 31, of Queen Street, Castletown, has pleaded not guilty to driving while under the influence of cannabis.
The offence is alleged to have been committed on December 16 at Bath Place in Douglas.
He was represented in court by advocate Paul Rodgers who said that information relating to prescription drugs had been passed to the prosecution to review.
A pre-trial review is scheduled to take place in summary court on June 20.
Bail continues in the sum of £500.
