Delays are expected on Old Castletown Road this morning due to the removal of a large branch.

A contractor is currently dealing with the large branch that is in danger of coming down on the carriageway in the vicinity of the junction with Ballaughton Meadows.

The working area has been coned off and two-way traffic will be maintained using stop and go boards.

All works are expected to be completed by midday, but delays are expected.
