The deputy ambassador of the Israeli embassy in London, Mrs Sharon Bar-Li, this week visited the Isle of Man.

The visit was organised by the Isle of Man Friends of Israel.

She spoke to the group and on Monday she met the Mayor of Douglas, Councillor Jon Joughin, in the Mayor’s parlour, and was also shown around Tynwald by the Seneschal, Paul Dougherty.
