A section of road at Barregarrow has been closed following a crash.

The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the closure on Wednesday evening.

The road is currently shut between Barregarrow Crossroads and Cronk-y-Voddy Straight as a result of the incident.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and use an alternative route where possible.

No further details about the collision, including whether anyone has been injured or how many vehicles were involved, have been released.
