The weather forecast from the Met Office:

A dry and bright morning with light winds for a time, before cloud thickens this afternoon bringing some patchy outbreaks of light rain as the winds increase to become strong southerlies. Maximum temperature 10 Celsius. Heavy rain and gales will develop later in the night.

A very wet and windy start to Tuesday, with heavy rain and a south to southeasterly gale. However, the rain will then clear during the afternoon as winds ease.

Scattered showers will develop for Wednesday with some brightness at times and fresh south-westerly winds.
