The weather forecast from the Met Office:

A dry start but outbreaks of rain arriving by mid-morning, turning persistent through the rest of the day and becoming heavy at times. Temperature slowly rising to about 9 Celsius, with the moderate or fresh westerly winds swinging south-southwest before becoming strong into this afternoon.

Heavy rain overnight, with the winds slowly decreasing. The rain should soon clear tomorrow morning, then bright or sunny spells for the rest of the day with just isolated showers carried on a strengthening west wind. Temperature around 8 Celsius at first, but dropping by a couple of degrees as the rain moves away in the morning.

Strong to gale force southwest winds on Friday, with a little rain at times during the afternoon and evening.
