Park House Nursey has said goodbye to 34 of their children as they head off to primary school.
The day was marked by a special graduation ceremony. From September, the children will attend primary schools right across the island.
The graduates wore their best dresses, shoes, suits and ties for the day.
Their day began with dancing and games with Carl Keeling from PartyTime and lunch in the garden before the ceremony, he has been assisting with the graduation ceremonies for 19 years.
Dawn Wilders, office manager said: ’All the children have made firm friendships and worked really hard during their final year at Park House Nursery and achieved a high standard in their pre-school skills which will make the transition into school a much easier one.’
After lunch, the children took their seats and were called up one-by-one to be congratulated and presented with their certificate.
The children also received their graduation photograph in a folder and a My First Dictionary signed by all the staff.
One mother said she wanted to thank the nursery ’for all it has done for the children, especially the graduation ceremony’.
