There was madness in the air at the Silly Moos campsite last weekend, when the circus rolled in to the third Dark Horse festival.
The street entertainment group the Invisible Circus gave a thrilling display of aerial dancing, acrobatics, knife juggling and mind-boggling hula-hoop twirling, courtesy of the mesmerising Ms Merlin
They also gave demonstrations and workshops of circus skills in the festival field throughout the weekend.
The festival crowd also entered in the spirit of things by getting dressed up either in their favourite 60s or 80s gear, complete with glitter, day-glo sports wear and many brightly-coloured costumes.
Elsewhere, there were concerts from rap legend Chali 2NA, with DJ Krafty Kuts, the Bristol based The Carny Villains, Fox Trap, Grinny Grandad, Buncha Skankas, and Han-FX, all performing on the Dark Star barn stage.
Elsewhere, down in the main festival field, there were performances from the returning guest band Little Thief, plus a host of top local bands, including Mad Daddy, Man In The Woods, No One died and the Voodoo Bandits, and there were many more younger groups appearing on the Soundcheck stage.
There were three other stage areas, which featured a range of story tellers, performance poets, solo musicians and local DJs.
The hundreds of festival-goers also had the chance to try out carving and woodland crafts, take part in yoga and mindfulness retreat sessions, and make colourful headbands.
