Robinson’s has donated face masks and hand sanitiser for use by cancer patients.
It follows a call for donations from Mannin Cancers and Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.
The charities say they have been overwhelmed by the response.
Robinson’s donated 200 face masks and 200 bottles of hand sanitiser, to be used by patients undergoing chemotherapy or immunotherapy or travelling to the UK for treatment. Pictured is Amber Filson from Robinson’s delivering their donation.
Carole Male, vice chairman of MBCSG, has previously said patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment are often living in seclusion and isolation due to coronavirus and were extremely nervous about going to their doctors for blood tests prior to chemo and also again when they visit the hospital for their chemotherapy treatment.
