The Children’s Centre is holding an annual rounders championship again.

The charity’s event will be held at Vagabonds Rugby club, Douglas, on Thursday, June 14, at 6pm.

Over the years up to a maximum of 36 teams have taken part in this event.

Families, work colleagues and friends are encouraged to get together to form a team of up to 10 people.

Entry is £150 for a team of 10 people. This includes entry into the event plus hot buffet.

Organiser Jane Howland of the charity’s fundraising team said: ’This annual event is a real fun championship, everyone has a good laugh while raising valuable funds for the charitable services we are focussing on for our 150th anniversary year onwards.’
