Firefighters from White Watch were called to a cooker fire at Ashley Hill School, Onchan, on Tuesday.
It happened shortly after 1pm.
On arrival, it was found the fire was confined to the oven and was out but the room was smokelogged.
All pupils and staff had been safely evacuated.
