The cause of a fire, which broke out earlier this morning, is being investigated.Two appliances from Douglas dealt with a garage fire at the rear of a house on the main road Union Mills.

A crew in breathing apparatus with a high pressure hose reel extinguished the fire, and then damped down and checked for hot spots.

Crews were there for about an hour.

The cause is under investigation but not believed to be suspicious.
