Garff Commissioners have organised a meeting for this Thursday, October 10, to discuss the flooding which occurred last week.

The meeting is due to be held at 7pm in Pavilion in the village’s Glen Gardens.

Politicians from the several departments involved in river management have been invited to attend the meeting including the chairman of Manx Utilities, Dr Alex Allinson, Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer, and Environment Minister Geoffrey Boot, along with senior departmental officers.

Chairman of Garff Commissioners Jamie Smith will chair the meeting.
