The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for frost and ice.
The forecast:
Chilly at first today, with a slight frost in places and a small risk of icy patches. It will be another dry day, with the variable cloud amounts possibly allowing sunny intervals. Light winds, with the maximum temperature 7 Celsius.
Tonight there may be a touch of frost at first for a time, but any frost will then lift as skies become mostly cloudy. Then tomorrow will be a mostly cloudy day, although largely dry with only small chance of a few spots of light drizzle.
Continuing settled and mostly dry on Friday and into the weekend, but always with a lot of cloud cover.
