The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for frost
Today will start cold with a frost in places, but thereafter it will be bright with sunny spells and just the chance of one or two passing showers into this afternoon. Highest temperature around 8°C in the light to moderate north-westerly wind, which will freshen slightly later this afternoon.
This evening & tonight will be dry with clear spells, as the wind turns to the northeast and falls light, allowing temperatures to dip to 2°C for most places, but close to freezing over higher ground and in well sheltered spots.
After a cold and frosty start to the day, tomorrow will be dry with prolonged spells of sunshine. Top temperature around 8°C with a mainly moderate east to north-easterly wind.
Saturday will be mostly dry but rather cloudy, with highs of 8°C and a fresh to strong east to southeast wind.
