The latest version of the Deep South Music festival continues this weekend with two bands hitting the Colas beach stage, opposite the Bay Hotel in Port Erin.

Electro rap rockers Dusty Plankton are Friday’s featured group, followed by the Voodoo Bandits on Saturday.

The organisers will be hoping for better weather after last week’s gigs ended up being rained off and held in the front bar of the Bay instead,

Elsewhere, Quids Inn will be dragging the ’Gigs from the Bedroom’ organisers Kizzie Puzzar, Ash Afenadi, Keiran Ball, Jay O’Connell and Billie Crowe out in to the open and onto the stage tonight (Thursday) from 8pm.

The Gigs from the Bedroom, held online, proved a popular substitute for the real thing during the lockdown period.
