28 new cases of Covid-19 have been detected in the island.
The government has said that all individuals are self-isolating along with members of their household and further tests will be offered.
Contact tracing continues.
It brings the current number of active cases of Covid-19 on the island to 866, with 23 people in hospital.
This figure of 23 now exceeds the peak number of hospitalisations that was seen during the first wave of Covid-19 infections in April 2020, which was 22.
