In a separate question, Mrs Edge asked what the bed occupancy rate at Noble’s Hospital had been over the last 12 months.

Mr Ashford said the daily occupancy at midday averaged 62.2% and at midnight was 62.8%.

The highest occupancy was on Monday, April 29, when 228 of 302 beds were occupied at midday (75.5%).
