There have now been 29 tests for coronavirus carried out on island residents - but still no confirmed cases.

The public health directorate gave an update on its website this afternoon.

Testing is undertaken in specialist UK laboratories.

There are now 596 confirmed cases in the UK and the number of deaths has risen to 10.

Ireland has announced all schools and colleges will be closed from the start of next week and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has called for all gatherings of more than 500 people to be cancelled.
