To celebrate its 100th monthly lottery, Hospice Isle of Man is giving supporters more chances to win.

Instead of its usual monthly draw where for £5 a ticket players can win £1,000, the charity has upped the September prize to £2,500, 10 other tickets will also win £100 each.

A spokesman said 2020 has ’proven to be an unexpected year, and like many organisations, Hospice has seen a rapid drop in funding because of the knock-on effects of Covid-19’.

He added: ’As a charity and the island’s only specialist palliative and end of life care provider, 12% of our annual running costs come from partners at Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

’However, the remaining £4,500,000, must be raised through fundraising.’

If you are already signed up to play the Hospice Lottery, The Big 100 will replace the September draw and you will be automatically entered.

Tickets for the draw can be bought at www.hospice.org.im/support-us/lottery/ or by calling 647400.
