Children at a nursery raised money by splatting staff in the face with fake custard pies.
It happened at Bright Beginnings in Jurby.
The youngsters were charged £2.50 to splatt a staff member with a plate of squirty cream.
They raised a total of £110 from that for Isle of Play.
The nursery’s manager, Kelly Charman, said: ’Isle of Play is such a fantastic charity to support and the guys really care about giving children the best possible opportunities on the island, making the most of the fantastic natural and free resources to hand in our environment on a day-to-day basis.
’I cannot recommend them enough and wish them every success in their new venture and charity work.’
Two parents also ran a ’funky festival’ stall at the nursery’s sports day and raised a further £28 in donations for Isle of Play.
