A police cordon has been put in place on Douglas seafront.

A number of emergency vehicles have been at the scene since earlier this afternoon.

Eyewitnesses have reported that the police activity is centered on an area of Douglas beach.

The Isle of Man Constabulary say it is responding to an ongoing incident in the area and will release further details in due course.
