An Isle of Man pub looks set to call last orders for the final time.
The Manor in Willaston has announced it will be shutting its doors later this month.
The move will bring to an end the venue’s tenure under the Heron and Brearley brand, the pub said in a statement online.
The Manor’s final day of trading will be Saturday; October 24 and pub bosses are planning to throw an Oktoberfest-themed farewell party planned to mark the occasion.
The statement said: ‘The final evening promises to be an opportunity for customers, friends and familiar faces to gather at The Manor one last time, celebrate the pub’s place in the community.’
Heron & Brearley also thanked everyone who had supported The Manor during its time operating the pub.
Heron and Brearley - also known as the H&B - is a hospitality, logistics and retail group which includes brands such as the Okell’s brewery and Manx Independent Carriers.
It also runs a number of Spar and Subway outlets across the Isle of Man.
The Manor’s Oktoberfest event will begin at 8pm next Saturday.
Admission will be free, although customers will need tickets to attend which will be available from the Manor from Monday and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Customers are being encouraged to collect their tickets early to avoid disappointment.
