Laurel and Hardy are coming to Port St Mary.

Parker Productions is presenting Laurel and Hardy, by Tom McGrath,

It will star Dave Shaw as Stan Laurel and Wayne Kelsall as Oliver Hardy and it will be directed by Carl Parker.

It will be staged at Port St Mary town hall on July 13 to 15 at 7.30pm.

It’s been half a century since Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy died.

They were the pioneers of modern comedy and their movies have delighted generation after generation for almost 100 years.

Laurel and Hardy will guide you through their early lives, their steady rise to international stardom, the decline of their movie careers and their phoenix-like revival on the stages of Europe.

The appreciation of their fans, the love of their wives and - most enduringly - their unerring devotion to each other.

The audience should expect recreated highlights from their huge canon of work, accompanied by a little singing and some questionable dancing.

Tickets are £12 and £10 concession, available from Calvert’s Newsagents, Port St Mary or Mal’s butchers, Station Road, Port Erin.
