Nile Rodgers has praised the Isle of Man as a ‘walkers paradise’ after taking a stroll along Douglas Promenade following his performance at the Villa Marina.

The co-founder of CHIC shared a video on Instagram the morning after Wednesday night’s gig, showing him walking along the seafront and taking in the views.

‘I had a glorious walk this AM and I had a damn good time,’ he captioned the video.

Turning his camera towards the promenade, he added: ‘Look at this, you could just walk for miles and miles and miles.’

Rodgers also stopped to admire the sunken gardens, describing them as ‘cool, cool, cool’, before adding that they were ‘beautiful and amazing’.

The musician recalled previous visits to the Isle of Man during the TT, saying the sunken gardens looked very different on those occasions.
