Protestors waited outside Tynwald while Manx Gas directors attended a meeting with government ministers.

The group, who are against the service’s charges, were informed of the Tuesday discussion by a government insider.

Members were disappointed that no public announcement was made about the meeting and that the service’s directors did not leave the premises via the exit the group were stationed at.

MHKs Rob Callister, David Ashford and Julie Edge spoke with the group on the day.

In a Facebook statement, Mr Callister said: ’It was definitely an interesting presentation given by Manx Gas, although I doubt many Manx Gas customers would have agreed with many of the comments and quotes given throughout the briefing.’
