The Isle of Man’s parliament building has featured in a special anniversary book which showcases over 180 parliamentary buildings from across Commonwealth.
Released to mark 110 years of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association - which recently sent observers to monitor the island’s general election -the book carries a special message from the Queen along with more than 350 photographs of the buildings and their chambers.
The building, known affectionately as ’The Wedding Cake’ for its tiered design, the building on Prospect Hill in Douglas was built in 1855.
The book is available to pre-order for delivery in January 2022.
