First up this week, we have news of an exciting new group on the verge of making their debut appearance on the island.
Lucy Morris maybe a new name on the Manx band scene, yet it is one made up of long term and well-known members of it.
Headed up by Marie Reynolds and Kieran Ball, of Postcode fame, on vocals and guitar respectively, and joined by Martyn Cain of Post War Stories on bass and myself on drums, the band is set to release their first recorded offering today (Thursday) via the Manx label, Small Bear Records.
The EP, entitled ’Swimming In Broad Waters’, showcases three tracks from their earliest writing sessions, and there are further tracks pinned for release. There may even be an album and some live dates in the pipeline, so I’ll keep you posted!
’Swimming In Broad Waters’ can be streamed or as a download now on a name-your-price basis via lucymorris.bandcamp.com/releases.
