Most fixed line numbers hit by problems this morning have now been fixed, Manx Telecom say.
In an update, the company state: ’Our engineers continue to resolve one remaining case with a local business.
’Otherwise successful tests have now taken place to resolve all of the issues that affected fixed line calls to/from some customers this morning.
’We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank our customers for their patience.’
Noble’s Hospital, the 999 service, Government departments, Manx Telecom headquarters and a number of local businesses were all affected.
The outage was caused by failed ISDN circuits.
