the Met Office has today issued a yellow warning for ice.
The forecast:
Dry with variable amounts of cloud with some bright or sunny intervals. Maximum temperature 7 Celsius, and feeling a fair bit colder as the southeasterly winds increase fresh to strong in places.
A dry start on Saturday, but outbreaks of rain soon developing. Fresh to strong southeast winds.
Then the rain will clear overnight to leave a dry and bright day on Sunday, although heavy rain will arrive after dark.
