The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is planning to create a 13-space car park in the old quarry adjacent to the Hairpin bend on the Mountain Road.

The purpose is to give better access to the nearby glen and wooded area.

Once the work is completed, the Manx Wildlife Trust will maintain the area.
