Three companies have been awarded contracts to provide travel and accommodaton services for fans visiting the TT, Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT next year.

Visit IOM.co.uk, owned and operated by Mann Link Travel Ltd, Freedom Travel Isle of Man, and Terrific Travel Ltd, a company developed by Duke Marketing, have been granted licences to provide services by the government’s Department for Enterprise.

Rob Callister MHK, the Department for Enterprise member with responsibility for tourism and motorsport, said: ’It’s great to see three strong local companies awarded official partner status for TT travel and accommodation services.

’Their proposals demonstrated the potential to deliver a quality visitor experience for both festivals and a clear understanding of the event and what is on offer to visitors.

’The three partners will work with the department to encourage people to visit the island by developing competitive travel packages and providing accessible customer support to ensure that their customers have a positive and enjoyable experience in the Isle of Man.’

The three companies replace Regency Travel, which had been responsible for travel and accommodation services for the TT, Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT since 2009.

The three travel and accommodation partners will answer inquiries from customers, liaise with travel operators and provide and maintain online bookings for customers worldwide.

They will also deal with sales of tickets for official TT experiences, including VIP hospitality and grandstand tickets.

The three partners will market official travel packages for the TT, Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT in 2019 under an official licence agreement.
