Harbour Road in Onchan has now reopened after the road was shut overnight due to an road traffic collision (RTC).

In a statement issued by police, it reads: ‘Harbour Road in Onchan is now fully open. We are always grateful to the public for their patience and co-operation in such matters.

‘Please may we ask for people to refrain from speculation at this point. Any information will be given if appropriate.’

Harbour Road runs from Groudle Road to King Edward Road and lies at the bottom end of the village. A resident living on the road told Gef.im that paramedics and police officers were at the scene.
