Police are urging visitors to the glens and plantations to park considerately.

They said they had a number of reports of vehicles parking in the roads surrounding the access points to Cornaa and Ballaglass.

A spokesman said: ’This has prevented tractors accessing their fields. These roads are narrow and not always suitable for parking.

’Farmers and emergency service vehicles still need to access these areas with larger vehicles.

’Please enjoy the countryside but park considerately.’

Police say they have noted an increase in traffic on the roads since the easing of restrictions a week last Friday.
