An internet bus journey planner now works in the Isle of Man.

Traveline can help passengers to find the best route by entering in where they want to go to/from and at what time.

The web-based system, which covers the whole of the UK, provides all journey options available using the most up-to-date information.

Ian Bates, head of operations for the island’s bus service, said: ’Traveline is a great product as it negates the need for customers to look through long complicated timetables.

’This is particularly useful for people who don’t normally use the bus. Reading a timetable can be quite difficult for certain journeys, but Traveline takes all the hard work out of planning a trip.’
