The party was over for one group of teenagers after police seized this haul of booze.

Officers were alerted last night (Friday) to a group of young people under the age of 18 who were intending on having a party on Ballaugh Beach.

Police said they had powers of confiscation under section 73 and 74 of the Licensing Act 1995 which covers under 18’s drinking/possession of alcohol.
