Another sitting candidate has announced she plans to defend her seat.
Ann Corlett joined the House of Keys representing Douglas Central in 2016.
In common with many other candidates, she lists her priorities as health, education, safety, housing and climate change and says: ’Economic recovery is vital in order to provide the services that are essential for a thriving island community.’
Mrs Corlett’s fellow sitting Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas is the only other candidate to declare in the constituency.
All 24 House of Keys seats are up for grabs on September 23. There are 12 constituencies all of which elect two candidates.
